On Friday, September 26, 2025, representatives of FNA took part in the initiative for a roundtable discussion on the topic: “Family is chosen with the heart to give roots and wings.” The event marked the beginning of the National Information Weeks on Adoption in Bulgaria.
During the discussions, FNA strongly advocated for the continuation of efforts to improve the process of registering children deprived of parental care as available for adoption. Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Policy, Ivan Krastev, demonstrated genuine interest and assured that he will personally take action to improve, coordinate, and intensify the process at the local level.
We hope that by continuing to raise public awareness and engaging the competent institutions, this process will continue to advance so that more children will have the opportunity to be adopted at a younger age and placed in a caring and loving family environment.
